BRIDLINGTON ANIMAL PARK ACCESSIBILITY
Sensory Bags
Sensory bags are designed to provide ways to improve focus and create relaxation with certain demanding cognitive tasks for children with ASD and ADHD. They can, of course, be used by any child who may benefit.
The sensory bags include accessible maps to clearly navigate the zoo, ear defenders to block out noise, sunglasses to dim bright lights, fidget toys to occupy hands and magnifying glasses as a fun way to view our animals.
Bags can be picked up at the admissions area of the zoo, simply speak to an admissions assistant. Loan of the sensory bags is FREE, however when finished please return the bag to point of collection.
Access for park
The park is over 20 years old and contains a number of old buildings and structures and as a result parts of the park may not be easy to get around for everyone. If you are unsure please phone us on 01262 673653 and we will try to answer your questions.
Toilets
Unisex accessible toilet facilities are provided within the Animal Park grounds.
Assistance dogs
If you require an assistance dog, please call the park on 01262 673653 to discuss your requirements. As adjustments to your visit may need to be made.
